Becky and Pete's Invitations

Wow! It seems like eons ago that Becky contacted me to do her invitations. Her wedding is December 9 and when she booked, December seemed so far away! Now here we are, her invites are due in the mail any day now! Time sure does fly when you're having fun!

I really enjoyed Becky's invitation. I like the paper used (ecru linen) and the soft yellow damask graphic adds such a nice level of elegance. Originally, the design didn't include the ribbon, but I found this gorgeous yellow ribbon that was an exact match and threw it in as a little added bonus! I think the ribbon does an amazing job at dressing the invitations up a little bit more.

Becky was such a pleasure to work with, and even nicer in person. I am thankful I got the chance to work with her!!!

Annual Family BBQ

My husband's family gets to gether every year for a family BBQ. This year my sister and brother-in-law are hosting. I offered to make invitations for the event and came up with these adorable bright green, dark purple and white invitations!

Kristi's Rehearsal Dinner and Day After Brunch Invites

Kristi contacted me about a month before her wedding with an idea in mind for what she wanted. She showed me the damask graphic that she liked and I was able to use the light pink paper and burgundy ink as a contrast. The package includes a 5x7 RD invite and a 4x5 Brunch invite.

And More Samples...

I've had all these samples done for quite some time...it was just a matter of getting a break in the action to get them blogged and put on my website. Ahhh...sigh of relief!

Samples, Samples, Samples!!!

Caitlin's Shocking Pink and Damask Invite!

Caitlin's invitations are very fun! We had a hard time at first finding the right shade of pink, and after some emails back and forth, Caitlin emailed me a link to this fireball fuchsia card stock. I ordered it immediately and after that, we were golden! Caitlin is having a the traditional "formal" wedding, but wanted to portray a fun atmosphere, and what better way than through hot pink and black damask designs! Because we used white cardstock and envelopes, as an added touch, I added the belly sash for a splash of added color!

These invitations are very fun and I bet her guests won't forget them!

Caitlin, you're a trouper!

Amy's Wedding Invitations!

When Amy and I first started discussing her invitations, she told me that her and Bryan discussed it and didn't want red invitations because they may appear to be too Christmasy (their wedding colors are red and ivory). We talked about it and decided to go with a tanish color and ivory invitation and tie in the red through the graphic. The burnt sugar paper goes perfectly with the ivory cardstock and the graphic used just ties everything together perfectly. Amy, like Liza, chose to go with a belly wrap rather than an inside envelope which I was so excited about. Belly wraps are the new "in" thing and are so pretty and functional. I apologize that I didn't take a picture of the belly wrap. I will also be doing a few extra's for Amy, so watch for them in the next month!!!

Another Sample!

I was a little bored the other day and thought that I'd put together a new sample with some supplies I had on hand. I also decided that I would use black linen for the panel and the envelope mainly because I have an invitation order coming up in the next two months that will be using a black linen portable pocket and black linen envelope with corresponding wrap address labels. I really like the look of the black envelope, very sharp. And I am sure my bride will like the look too!

Meghan's Shower Invitations!

After we started the design of Meghan and Brad's wedding invitations, Meghan contacted me about doing her shower invitations as well. Her mom wanted to throw her a garden party themed shower. I found this adorable floral graphic and used the green color from their wedding invitations on the shower invite and used pink to match the floral graphic for their names. The invitations are printed on white linen paper, which fits well with the garden theme, and I picked these light pink envelopes that give the invitations more of a "girlie" appearance. The package came together very well, and has become my new favorite shower invitation!

Jennifer's Shower Invitations

I made Jennifer's shower invites as my gift to her for her wedding/shower. I used her wedding colors but put a spin on it. Her wedding colors are dark brown and the pink and for the oriental theme shower, I changed the colors to black and pink. Her invitations received rave reviews. Check back soon for her shower thank you notes, rehearsal dinner invitations and wedding thank you notes.
