Changes, Changes, Changes...

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to give you all the news that I am moving my blog over to WordPress. I have nothing against BlogSpot, but WordPress just seems a little more "professional" looking. I am able to use my new logo and everything.

Come on over and check my new blog out!!!

I am still working on my new website, I hope it to be up and running in the next 3 weeks!

New Website...

...coming soon!

I am in the process of transferring my domain and creating a completely new flash website! I am very excited about this as it is a huge move for me! I will be working with my friend and photographer Mark Moore to take stunning pictures of my invitations to include on my new website!

During this process, my website will be down. This will take a couple of weeks, but it will be well worth the wait!!! I will probably be moving my blog as well, but I'll decide that when the time comes!

Keep your fingers crossed for a smooth transition!!!

Kay and Larry's X-Mas Cards

I used pyrite (metallic silver) cardstock with matching envelopes and navy linen on back of the panel. I used thing navy thread round the bottom to add a little "extra" to it. I love the way these Christmas cards turned out!!! From the colors to the fonts, I just love them!

Sarah's Holiday Party

Sarah contacted me about making her holiday party invitations. I was more than happy to do it because they were so fun to make. The party is casual and we tried to show that through the wording and martini graphic, and I fancied them up a touch with the graphic at the bottom of the invitation. They are done in red and a light gold. I tied the envelopes in by doing them in the matching light gold with a red customized envelope liner.

Becky and Pete's Invitations

Wow! It seems like eons ago that Becky contacted me to do her invitations. Her wedding is December 9 and when she booked, December seemed so far away! Now here we are, her invites are due in the mail any day now! Time sure does fly when you're having fun!

I really enjoyed Becky's invitation. I like the paper used (ecru linen) and the soft yellow damask graphic adds such a nice level of elegance. Originally, the design didn't include the ribbon, but I found this gorgeous yellow ribbon that was an exact match and threw it in as a little added bonus! I think the ribbon does an amazing job at dressing the invitations up a little bit more.

Becky was such a pleasure to work with, and even nicer in person. I am thankful I got the chance to work with her!!!
